Hi Harry & Neale

Whilst I firmly believe that Chris Disspain acted in good faith in this
instance, there are people "out there" who may take advantage of any system.
I say that, of course, to flag the idea of "safeguards" without meaning any
reflection on Macromedia's mailing activities.

It seems to me that policy guidelines need to be clearly defined and
(preferably) simple. They also need to be transparent. Chris understands
that very well.

As Chris has indicated that he "will look into establishing a process to deal
with such matters in the future", I am sure your input into the formal process
is most valuable.

Thank you.

Best regards
Patrick Corliss
