as I said to them, there should be no problem with the delegation having
done a couple hundred of them, however I cant guarantee anything, the
delegation may fail, RE may get run over a by a truck. who knows.
I am not able to promise them anything.

what you are missing is that these people take there jobs with a certain
seriousnes which is lacking in the dns world. yes they are overly nervous,
yes they are not net literate, and all they understand is there web site
is not working because you are holding it up, which is holding up
everything else.

they said to me it takes 30 seconds to check a domain why is it taking
a week to delegate one? its nearly the year 2000!

you are the ultimate .au authority, your are responsiblity for .au and
.org.au, you dont seem to realise the harm you are causing. these issues
should have been fixed up a year ago. instead we have these poor people
having kittens about a domain which may or may not be delegated this week.
what if something falls over and the delegation fails?
do we have to wait another random period of time?

as the .au authority it is up to you do take charge and fix the dns system,
these endless waiting games and your hands off aproach do not benefit
the end users of the dns. do something! if you are not up to the job
then hand it over to someone who is.

when is the next dns forum? why do you not attend?

yes I am mad, I am very mad. its been 2 years and because of personalities
and egos adna has failled and again we are crawling at snails pace going
nowhere fast.
