Starting a reseller coop registrar solve many issues for resellars
Each reseller will have direct input into how the registrar is managed.
Resellar domain name costs will be cheaper. and it could extend outside the
.au name space!
No need to change registrars because price/service - the resellar has
influenced as a coop member.
Resellers can co-opperate to reduce costs of infrastructure for the coop
which could then convert to lower costs for the resellar.

there are many pros for this idea. far more than the cons
