  Are you saying that there are no Legacy Root servers in the DNS structure
A-M Robert?

  For the most part this is correct.  However .au.com is a routeable subdomain to
the Root servers A-M currently for example.  But actually you made my point
Robert.  That being that as far as to .AU and the subsequent Name Servers
for .AU subdomains is concerned you are correct.  And that was the point I was
attempting to make.

  Exactly correct.  And that was my point.  There are however four exceptionsone
of them being .au.com.  Which was being discussed earlier on this an another
thread, hence my post for clarity.

  This is essentially correct as well.  There are however, as I said 4 sub domains
that
are routed to the Root servers as well, and .au.com and .au.net is another.
