] The fax campaign by Australia & New Zealand Domain Name Registry started
] nearly 3 weeks ago.
]
] Melbourne IT has had over 200 phone calls. The callers were angry, confused
] and outraged. The callers wanted some clarity and comfort. All have requested
] that we take legal action on their behalf.

I have some questions for Clive/INA/Melbourne IT.

(1) Are you saying that you had phone calls three weeks ago informing
you of this fax out campaign? It sounds like you have had 200 calls
in the last three weeks (and who knows how many hundreds or thousands
    of Emails).

(2) Since you became aware of the fax campaign, have you contacted
anyone from NetRegistry regarding these faxes? For example, to
ask them to stop, to demand an explanation (either for yourselves
or on behalf of your customers), or to get their side of the story.

And some questions for Giles/Larry/NetRegistry.

(A) Is NetRegistry's position that all anyone had to do was notify you
(NetRegistry) of the content of these faxes, and you would then
take it up with reseller and tell them to stop?

(B) When did you first become aware of the content of the faxes?

(C) When did you request the reseller to refrain? (Or how long after B?)
