auDA Panel releases Issues Paper for public comment

auDA?s 2007 Names Policy Panel have released an Issues Paper as part of its current review of the policy framework for .au domain names.

Issues being addressed include:

    * whether .au should be opened up to direct registrations (eg. domainname.au)
    * whether the policy rules for domain names should be changed
    * whether registrants should be allowed to sell their .au domain names.

The Issues Paper sets out the current situation and invites comment on suggestions and options for change.

The closing date for submissions is Friday 15 June 2007. For more information and a link to the Issues Paper, see the auDA announcement here - http://auda.org.au/news-archive/auda-18052007/.
