Just noticed this problem with one of our clients domains...

#whois chilesoffshore.com.au

% Copyright 2001 auDA.  Terms of Use at http://www.aunic.net/copyright.html

% No entries found for the selected source(s).

Yet a AUNIC Name Status Report returns the correct information for the domain.
(and of course its registered, current and all that stuff)

weird...
