ICANN FACES TOUGH SENATE SCRUTINY
The Senate committee hearing on ICANN governance asked tough
questions about the at-large election process as well as the
selection of new gTLDs.  Senator Conrad Burns promised
further hearings to ensure the ICANN meets government
standards for openness and accountability.
