CONFUSION OVER DOT-AU RENEWALS
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has
issued a warning over dot-au registration services who may
be misleading consumers over the need to renew their
domains.

ICANN STUDY DRAWS FIRE FROM AUERBACH
ICANN Board Member Karl Auerbach has attacked the
organization for initiating a two-year study to analyze and
review its at-large membership.  Specifically, the study
will inquire whether ordinary Internet users should have a
say in ICANN's decision-making system.  Auerbach, elected as
North America's at-large board representative, claims that
ICANN is essentially trying to undermine the role of its
at-large membership.
