No, this would only lead to confusion for people trying to locate sites etc.
Having .COM.AU and .CO.AU would be a bad move.

Yes, we should look at two or more DNA's. And contrary to popular belief,
using large ISPs will not necessarily be the answer. More people respond the
'personal' touch that smaller companies can provide.

Have you ever tried to get ahold of a specific person at Telstra or
Connect.com.au and actually got them first time? Rare in my experience.
